Grooming and preparing the students to face the industry is an integral part of our training process. Based on their study streams and the market requirements, the students are guided and made ready as they enter their pre final year for placement opportunities which start in their final year.

The process of all round preparation, for tomorrow’s challenging & technologically advanced work environments starts quite early right from the first year by providing them relevant and valuable exposure through workshops, seminars, road shows, industrial visits, guest lectures by teams of professionals in accordance to their training needs, and soft skill enhancement requirements. Periodic assessment of traits and skills acquired are followed with vast scope of Industry Academia exchange of both, thought and content.

The continuous Industry Institute Collaboration activities are in the forefront, providing students with much needed industry knowledge and trends providing expert technical inputs in constant collaboration with our participating partner organizations and recruiters.

The Cell provides a launch platform to the final year students by providing grooming, counseling, preparing and managing their expectations to instill confidence in them in order to face the realities of their workplace by helping them to secure entry level job opportunities before they actually pass out.

Summer & Winter Internships are part of the curriculum and students are encouraged to acquire exposure in the industry accordingly.

Vocational training, short Internship programs for pre final year students through regular mentoring and guidance of departmental faculty members are given utmost importance so that students become productive when they join the industry and become a successful professional in their career.

The purpose of this collaboration is to promote Life sciences domain (Pharmacovigilance, Medical device complaint handling and Medical writing) education to the students and fresh graduates. This is intended to help them learn and acquire critical domain knowledge that will improve their employability and make them ready for Industry opportunities in the future. This will also help them understand the different career opportunities that Wipro Ltd-India and other Pharma / Medical Devices industries can offer.

• Duration: Approximately 10 weeks
• Training hours: Approximately 7.5 hours / week

Faculty members & TPOs interact with students on a one to one basis providing them valuable guidance in selecting a career path for them. Workshops and sessions are arranged with internal members and external industry HRs for helping the students identify their strong attributes and chart a suitable career plan for themselves.

The University has a strong base of alumni who have passed out over the last five years. Relationship is maintained with them by the departmental faculties and the T&P cell. They are invited and informed about the Universities upcoming events and activities. Our Alumni whole heartedly participate during the bi annual Skillex exposition which happens once in each Semester and attend Alumni meets.
