The Department of Computer Science and Engineering offersan undergraduate course in Bachelor of Computer Applications (BCA) is a 3-year undergraduate degree program that provides a comprehensive foundation in computer science and its applications. It is designed to prepare students for careers in software development, IT services, and other computer-related fields. The BCA program combines theoretical knowledge with practical skills to equip students with the tools necessary for the rapidly evolving technology industry.The course curriculum includes laboratories for hands-on experiences, projects and internships to gain practical experience and industry exposure. With a combination of theoretical knowledge and practical skills, graduates are well-equipped to meet the demands of the fast-paced and ever-evolving technology sector.

Graduateshave diverse career path as Software Engineer/Developer, Mobile Application Developer, System Analyst, IT Support etc. Beside these career path, graduates may pursue higher education as Master’s degree (MCA/M.Sc) in computer applications etc. Also, graduates can pursue MBA in IT/Systems along with some professional certifications in cyber security, cloud computing etc.
