OFFICE OF THE CONTROLLER OF EXAMINATIONS

Conducting the Examinations and declaration of results are among the important responsibilities of Office of the Controller of Examination of JIS University. The Examination Section is the backbone of the examination system. It is of paramount importance that the Examinations are conducted with utmost precision, fairness and objectivity to gain public credibility and esteem. In order to achieve this, all the rules and procedures relating to the examinations should be well delineated so as to leave no scope for any confusion or ambiguity.

• Preparation of Examination Schedule well in advance.
• Printing question papers and distributing the same.
• Evaluation, moderations of answer sheets and tabulations of the same.
• Processing of results through software system.
• Publication of results through inter and intranet in stipulated time.
• To issue Semester wise Grade Report, Consolidated Mark Sheet, Provisional Certificate, Degree Certificates, Migration Certificate, Transcripts, Duplicates, CGPA to Marks Conversion Certificate and any other matter pertaining to Examination Section.
• Adoption of Corrective measures based on the recommendations of the Board of Examinations Committee.
• Genuiness verification.
• Conducting Supplementary/Backlogs exams.
• Conducting/organizing convocations.
