SWAYAM (MOOCs)

The UGC (Credit Framework for Online Learning Courses through Study Webs of Active Learning for Young Aspiring Minds) Regulations, 2021 introduced a new framework allowing universities to conduct examinations for SWAYAM courses. This regulation laid down the guidelines and operational framework for the using the SWAYAM platform, which is designed to offer online courses to students across India. These regulations aim to ensure the quality, transparency, and structure of the courses offered, while also promoting higher education through online learning.
