Entrepreneurship Cell activity
Participation of JIS University e-cell students & faculty in the Entrepreneurship Conclave 2022 organized by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry on 16th September 2022, 4 pm onwards.
The Entrepreneurship Cell took the initiative to send a delegate of e-cell students along with Dr. Indranil Mutsuddi, the Coordinator, e-Cell to participate in the Entrepreneurship Conclave 2022 organized by the Bengal Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Kolkata at the Wiiliamson Magor Hall, the Bengal Chamber premises on 16th September 2022, 4 pm onwards.
The Entrepreneurship Conclave 2022 was attended by eminent entrepreneurs, dignitaries from the Corporate diaspora, Bankers, venture capitalists, angel investors, esteemed officials and members of the Entrepreneurs’ committee, BCC&I, Kolkata and invited representatives of the media. During the conclave eminent speakers like Mr. Narender Kumar, AGM, MSME, Canara Bank, Mr. Anirudh A Damani, Managing Partner, Artha Venture Fund, Ms. Lahana Ghosh, Finance & Operations Manager, Jugal’s, Ms. Kirti Bhoutika, MasterChef & Owner, Sugarplum Cakery, Mr. Arif, Founder, Evazon, Ms. Ajanta Sinha Roy, Director, Vidya.com Consultancy Pvt. Ltd., Mr. Satyabrata Dey, Managing Director, Sreeleathers Ltd. enlightened the audience with their insights on new venture funding and shared their experiences on entrepreneurial challenges which immensely enriched the knowledge of the participating students. Eminent dignitaries like Mr. Deepak Daftari, Chairperson, The Entrepreneurs’ Committee, BCC&I and Mr. S. Radhakrishnan, former President, BCC&I also shared their insights as opening remarks during the conclave.
The conclave provided a rare opportunity for our e-cell students to meet, interact and network with entrepreneurs, venture capitalists, leading bankers and esteemed members from the Corporate diaspora which immensely boosted their confidence and imbibed a thought process to become entrepreneurs and take entrepreneurship as a career option. The students were highly motivated in this direction.
