About the Program

CIS has been established to offer a unique opening to advanced educational curriculum and research where the basic sciences meet with the technology to address the real challenges and pertinent issues for present society. Realizing the urgent need to fulfil the gap between academic curriculum and industry’s demands, CIS is offering a quality program at post-graduate and research levels which will ultimately provide a talented pool of skilled manpower to ensure the working solution in the respective domains.

Our Masters programs are also aligning with the dynamic evolution of professional education methodology and has started an academic and industry based various P.G programs with the goal of being one of the important and value based post graduate and research institutes of the country. Realizing the urgent need to fulfil the gap between academic curriculum and industry’s demand, a number of quality programs at Masters level has been decided to be started from the coming academic session.

Vision & Mission

Our center CIS is committed to emerge as a research group of global reach in the design and development of material based Research & Development (R & D) focused from Polymer Technology to Paint Technology domain in a very focused as well as diversified and in a very specific manner to address the challenges spanning from the domains of Energy, Environment to Health. The Centre also gives strong emphasis on having the active and prospective industrial collaborations of various Indian & Multi-national corporate sectors in the field of Nanotechnology & Polymeric Materials.

BSc (with minimum 50% marks or equivalent CGPA) in Chemistry / Physics / Biochemistry / Life Sciences (for MSc) plus JET (JIS University Entrance Exam)

This PG course is indeed very versatile and scopes are immense in the industries spanning in the domains of Polymers, Surface Coating, Paint & Coating Technology to Materials Science. With the highly qualified and experienced faculty members from academia and industry and the well-equipped laboratories with advanced research facilities, the students will be guided and prepared to secure jobs in the above mentioned corporate sectors.

  • PEO 1: Graduates of the MSc Polymer Science and Technology program will possess advanced knowledge and expertise in the principles and applications of polymer science.
  • PEO 2: Students will be able to analyze and solve complex problems in polymer science and technology using critical thinking and analytical skills.
  • PEO 3: Graduates will demonstrate proficiency in utilizing modern tools and techniques essential for polymer research, synthesis, characterization, and processing.
