About the Program
The Master of Pharmacy (M.Pharm) in Pharmacology is a two-year postgraduate program offered in accordance with the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) regulations. This program is intended for candidates who have successfully completed a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from a PCI-approved institution. The four-semester M.Pharm Pharmacology curriculum offers an in-depth exploration of the mechanisms of drug action, pharmacokinetics, pharmacodynamics, and toxicology, cellular and molecular pharmacology, clinical research & pharmacovigilance, providing a solid foundation in the principles of experimental and clinical pharmacology. The course includes preclinical and clinical research methodologies, including animal studies, biostatistics, regulatory requirements, and ethical practices. Laboratory work combines hands-on experience with instrumental techniques, experimental animal models, and bioactivity evaluation emphasizing on one year research-based dissertation.

Eligibility
The candidate must have passed Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm) from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India (PCI) with at least 55% marks (aggregate) in the B.Pharm degree (5% relaxation may be given to SC/ST/OBC/PwD). Non-GPAT candidates can admitted based on merit with JET (JIS University Entrance Exam). A valid GPAT score is also preferred for admission.
