About the Program

A two-year postgraduate program after B. Pharm leads to the Master of Pharmacy (M. Pharm.) degree. The study of pharmaceuticals and medications is the focus of pharmaceutical sciences, which form the basis of this course. It improves students' theoretical, technical, and practical understanding of pharmacy while piquing their interest in conducting additional pharmaceutical research. Candidates must have passed their B. Pharm exam, with or without the GPAT, to be eligible for M. Pharm courses.

Eligibility

B.Pharm from PCI Approved Institute with minimum 70% and above marks plus JET (JIS University Entrance Exam).

Career Path

After completing the M. Pharm. program, there are several excellent career opportunities. The postgraduates can be very important in the pharmaceutical and IT industries, healthcare, and pharmaceutical research. They can work as pharmacists in the healthcare sector in settings like hospitals, both public and private, and other reputable government agencies like the Indian Railways, BSF, Air Force, Navy, and Army. A graduate in the pharmaceutical sector may choose to work in quality control or quality assurance, or as a scientist in R&D, F&D, clinical research associates, etc. Graduates in IT work as drug safety associates, pharmacovigilance associates, medical writers, and medical coders, among other roles. Additionally, M. Pharm. graduates choose to pursue doctoral courses to focus solely on research-oriented jobs through national and international entrance exams GATE, GPAT, GRE, IELTS and TOEFL etc.
